Prajna Foundation
Prajna Foundation, a non-funded voluntary organization (NGO) registered in 1994 as a trust, and has been providing underserved children & women with the tools to escape the cycle of poverty through value education, skill training, and life coaching. Their special focus is on the 'Girl Child'. Our initiatives include helping isolate children from specific negative surroundings and protecting them from drug peddlers, traffickers, and criminals. They have succeeded in mainstreaming the slum children in their vicinity, from a meager 5% in 2001 to almost 100% in 2010. They also work to up-skill them at their vocational training centers.
Sukhad Foundation
Sukhad Foundation is a youth run foundation providing food, supplement & period/contraception products to the underprivileged sections of society. Sukhad's mission is to uplift the needy, regardless of age, gender, or religion and help them create an identity for themselves in society. They work in a number of sectors, including: Period, Pregnancy & Poverty; Child Malnutrition; Promoting inclusivity and equality for the LGBTQ+ community; and Education for Underprivileged Children of Migrant workers
HAQ
HAQ is a human rights organization that focuses on safeguarding rights for all children, recognising them as citizens of today and adults of tomorrow. They are working towards an inclusive society where children grow up in an environment that rests on the principles of non-discrimination and equality and where the human rights of children are recognised, protected and realized. Their mission is to mainstream child rights and children’s concerns in development planning and action through knowledge creation, evidence based advocacy and communication, direct support for children in distress, collaboration and partnership.
Hamari Pahchan
Hamari Pahchan, is a Delhi based NGO that puts forth a platform to aid the marginalized of society. They provide various opportunities to underprivileged people so they can create their own Pahchan (identity). Their focus spans over multiple areas like education, menstrual health awareness, unemployment and hunger. Since its inception in 2015, They have helped educate 11250+ children, help 2000+ women with employment opportunities, distributed 10,000+ menstrual hygiene kits and 1500+ corona kits.
Shades of Happiness
Shades of Happiness Foundation (SOHF), is a youth driven non government registered organization under Trust Act, 1882 Established in 2011 and based in New Delhi, The NGOs works with a vision to educate, enable & empower the impoverished sections for establishing an inclusive society. THe foundation primarily impacts Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Muslim Minority and the Other Backward Classes, through various strategies such as Action Programs, Event management, Camps and Meetings, Leadership Development and Training and Counselling.
