Shashwat Tyagi is a 11th grade student at John P. Stevens High School, New Jersey. He studies a variety of subjects at school, including Economics, Physics, Calculus, and World History. His interests extend beyond the streamlined demarcations between STEM and the humanities; he believes in the transformative power of cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Shashwat’s enthusiasm for entrepreneurship is nothing short of infectious: he’s an active member of the school business club and seeks out every opportunity to learn more about real-world management practices. He also authors a blog on the intricacies of business analytics, delving into relevant topics like IoT, predictive modeling, data-driven decision making, and how to deploy technology tools ethically. Shashwat is equally passionate about fitness and sports, holding a first degree black belt in MMA and competing in the MEY swim team. In his free time, he believes in serving the less fortunate, and has been an enthusiastic volunteer in SEWA’s LEAD program.
